Mine came with a battery tray.
Cut it off for TS1.One nice cut, just in case I ever need/want to weld it back on. doubt it very much but never know.

So engine out today, what bloody mud do the Spanish have? Blimey its rock hard.

The motor on the face of it looks pretty rough.

Does anyone know what gearing it should have in it? And is it any good for tuning?

It should have the same gearing as an Italian S3 Li150 so, yes, in answer to your question.

I wonder how many bits we all have held on to 'so that we can put it back to original' that in reality we know will never be used?

So today I put the motor on the bench and started chipping away at the mud on it, in some areas it was over an inch thick. Once I got most of it off i discovered the motor had been painted over twice, one in silver and then gloss blue!

I'm hoping it's preserved it a bit.

Nice clear numbers.

The top end is seized solid and very rusty, I've almost got it off but needs a bit more with a chisel.
