What size wire should I use to wire 12v indicators

Hi

I want to add some indicators to my Lambretta what is the correct size wire to use i.e. amp.

quick calculation: amps = watts divided by volts. so 2 x 10 watt lamps is 20watt divided by 12 volts = 1.67amps

as you say cable is rated in amps. I would have thought .75mm would be ample, but 1.00mm wouldn't be too excessive. Multi stranded can take more amps than solid.....

Any motor vehicle wire as sold in Halfords will do, go for the lightest (lowest amperage) nothing on a Lambretta draws enough current to come close to the limits of the lightest cable.
