Okay I am restoring Li 125 3. Trying to decide which Hdwe to use, stainless or what would have been the original Hdwe. I have bought both kits. I am a little disappointed that there is not much guidance on where all goes. I guess for the hard core purest you would use original coated. I like the idea of longevity and no rust. The engine is now a 195 soooo as far as completely original thats gone.
What do you guys think about the hardware option? I will try to post some pics
Thanks

It was zinc plated originally and if you want total factory original its the ones to use. However, wet use will inevitably see these going rusty and if you want longevity use the stainless kit.

Thanks Andy, I guess i will have to make the final call. I am leaning towards the stainless.
So another question......... Does anyone know of a real hardware list that gives a complete guide to the proper sizes and where all the nuts and bolts go. Any list I have found is not complete and very unclear where all goes. Even those who sell the new kits don't provide a instruction list. I think that's wrong. If you are going to sell something you need to provide instructions for those of us who are new to the game.
Thanks

Looking good. I like plain white.
When you say "Hardware" I'm not exactly sure what you are referring too. Talking about stainless I assume you mean stuff like tanks and head cowls? I haven't had any experience of stainless stuff myself, but I know it can be a difficult fit sometimes, so you can probably expect a few skinned knuckles and a bit of ungodly language.
Looking at your pictures the bodywork looks sound enough anyway. Don't use that airbox though. You'd be better off with a later GP airbox with better airflow.
