Stator check

Hi Guys

Just checking my spare stator for euro and when checking between earth and green power wire it is only giving a reading of 420. Is it high enough for a get out of jail, if not who best to send for an overhaul. All the connections look fine. OR just replace with a new as it is an old Indian that I have carried for years and been fortunate never to use!

for £30/£40 it may be worth buying a new one. No guarantees the new one will be ok but when your miles from anywhere in a Bavarian forest you may be grateful for it.

I'd be dubious about taking the repaired and untested spare you already have.
