Jetting on vented panels

Postby amb » Thu Jun 09, 2016 10:35 am

The panel's on my jet ts1 have just about had it , had a hole in the side for the 35mm mikuni with no filter . It's now got panel's fitted with the vents at the front with mesh , question I'm asking is will I need to alter the jetting i.e. will it be to rich as is ,currently running 350 main jet .

Phew!

If the previous set-up was not restrictive, then it would be the same as running with no panel, would you agree?

So, it makes sense to try that first.

Then, with your vented panel on, things change, you’ll have a good idea as to why.

That would be my starting point.
