Kickstart issues

Evening all. I've got a GP200 (SIL) which I'vr had for a few months. This morning I went to start it and for the first two kicks the kickstart returned ok but as soon as the engine started it would not return and was just hanging limp. I shut it off and could put the kickstart back to the correct position but again as soon as the engine starts it stays at the bottom and will not return. Probably not explained very well and I'm not the most mechanically gifted so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

If it turns the engine over but doesn't return I'd guess the return spring has broken. Press it down an inch or two and it should come back to the buffer.
