Another test of the Targa Twin omerta!!!

There's two things that we don't speak about on here Gav, that's Brexit and how much Targa's cost...oh and the new 350cc Casa twin apparently.

Three things...there's three things we don't talk about on here...oh, Vespas!

Four things..there's...aah forget it! :D

That's a type of fuel can I've not seen before. Where did that come from?

Had mine for almost a year, replaced the choke cable 4 times as it snapped every time at the lever end, new Italian cable fitted, no problems since....

MPG? Depends how it's ridden... A run to Skegness from Sheffield, I equalled 150cc MPG Lammys, so pretty pleased... Open it up on a motorway cruising at 65-70mph and don't expect much above 40mpg, otherwise expect 60+ mpg.

The main thing with a Targatwin is smooth acceleration, you're not waiting for 'the power band', the power jet kicks in and you're away (except in fourth uphill, where above 55 it only revs the guts and goes no faster).

The new 275cc might be better, waiting to try one out...

I rode with Nicks RT225 and Dereks Avanti 225, we pretty much ran the same
fuel consumption when we stopped to fill up give or take 1/2 liter depending
on how we were riding. I changed my gearing to the F1 Box gearing on 17/47
primaries. Much better than the pacemaker box which was in it and was showing
its age . Next step is to blueprint the engine and a new exhaust and I think that
should be about it :? Famous last words with regards to a Lambretta  G.

I bought one of these fuel cans earlier in the year ....from a Motorcycle Show at the Excell ..expensive ...but really strong also reckon you could drive a car over it ....it's that well made ..

4 liters = 1 US gallon = .88 imperial gallon . 8-) G.

Enough to get you to a gas station or petrol station :D
