Technical help for Series one, two and three Lambrettas. Models include the Li, Li Special, TV, SX, GP, Serveta and API/SIL models

Hi, I'm getting round to replacing the Giuliari seat on my LI3. The leather is perished and split but the metal work is sound. Has anyone had experience of fitting a new cover, if so, are they easy to fit and is any one supplier a better choice? I'm impressed with the amount of shaping and padding on the original and would love to have a close match. Many thanks for any help.

Just remove the original cover, make sure that the springs and the rest of the metalwork is in good condition,if it is,you can plate or paint the metal work or just fit the new cover and bend the tabs over.
