Hello All, I am trying to add the switch. I get the wires through with no problem. However, when i put the shaft in it causes a bind and the throttle will not turn easy. I've tried different positions to no avail.
Is there a trick here?
Thanks

I try and make the wiring flat where it comes through the headset and smear with grease, but sometimes I thin the throttle rod down in a lathe.

Ive always used plenty of grease when doing this job , bit messy but seems to do the trick.

use wider sleeving, then the cables can spread out more around the throttle rod

Thanks to all, I did get it done. I separated the wires into to sleeves. And it worked. I may now do as Byron suggested.
