Ducati points type coils

I want to bench test some Ducati points type coils that I have using an Ohm meter.

I think I know the procedure as far as primary windings etc but wondered if the correct resistance readings are available anywhere, please...

All five spare Ducati coils give readings within range as per the article you posted

However, I also have an almost identical EMB 6V coil that has no designations for primary or secondary, ‘+’ or ‘-‘ that gives readings @ 8.34 K OHMS. I have no idea of how I acquired it...
