Hi, two scoots and two air filter questions:
Lince 125, with casa 185, ancellotti running a 26 m delly with a ramair filter at the mo and for local mot need to show up looking original.
I have a 83 lince so has the kidney shaped airbox and have just invested in a bgm filter for the job...the filter may be ok on its own and lead to no jetting changes etc but just in case what is the approach to drilling an airbox and would it have similar effect as using the ramair do you think?. of note is the lince does not have a air scoop under the seat, just the open round hole. I only want it running roughly ok as I'll probably flip back to the ramair after unless I can get to a point of making no difference
is it best to drill on the side, both sides, back, top, how many holes, what size holes etc..I've googled and see lots of images which all look different in terms of the above questions..advice welcome..just in case i decide to give it a go
li150, rt195, running bgm bigbore and currently 200 manifold and surround MB style panel airfiler on an open mouth 26 mm dellorto. This one has been through the mot as an import with the above casa kit fitted and been ok so far with a ram air. So plan is to fit BGM manifold and switch to ramair...not sure what carb changes i would then likely need to make to suit, if any..anyone running something similar or have any tips?
Thanks as always
