Hi Chaps,
I am after a 200 probably a Spaniard but if I did look at an Indian GP 200 is there any way of determining whether the engine is a true 200 rather than a small block
with a 200 kit without dismantling it? I.E any markings or extra strengthening ribs cut outs on fins etc
Thanks,
Grandpa

Agree with the first two but wouldn't rely on the engine numbers,

Hi Chaps,
Thanks chaps ,but I would have to take cylinder cowl off to see cylinder nuts .I might be able to measure the inlet manifold studs on my gp 150 though and compare. I assume the distance across studs on a 200 is greater than a 150 but so would a 200 kit . This would be an Indian gp200 I might look at.
Thanks for your good ideas

I'm not sure that any of the SIL 150 casings had the same reinforcement webs on the mag side engine mount, whereas the late/common 200 casings do.

Hi Adam,
Thank you I will look into the webs on mag side. However,I have now received a reply to an inquiry about a Spanish Jet 200 with matching numbers and plan to look at it on Friday
