I love the fact that your dining table has place mats to protect it from anything so destructive as the smooth base of a glass vase.

Glad they didn't get in the way when laying the table with the Innocenti objets d'art...

just realised I never finished this thread....

When I'd finished laughing at WT1 comments I dropped the panels off at the painters and set about the engine build.

The build was just a general clean up and new seals bearings clutch and piston rings. The piston and bore looked fine so keeping it 125 on 6volts and points.

3 months of the painter messing me around and I went to pick the bits up and find someone else. Massive thanks to
Jason Frost and Tony at Absolutely scooters in Sheffield who fit me in and did a superb job. So ready to start the build around end of September



Frame had new bearing races top and bottomm

Forks rebuilt with new springs and buffers







New wiring loom and cables





Cleaned up the original exhaust

That is lovely!

Scrolling through the rebuild photos in order, I initially had reservations about the colour (says me with a Peach/Grey SX....!) but @ the end, it all makes sense.

Pity you'll lose that trade plate & I would agonise whether to go reflective plates or not....

One trick you missed though! The Ink Splat should've been red to match your head wound

Those 125's can fly with a few 'simple' modifications.Here's mine..

Hi, it is carter aluminium lechler 8081. I got that from lambretta paints and gave it to Jason so I assume he used that. I also got half a litre thorn white lechler 8082 from them too, which I gave to Jason as a sample of the colour from tessera's restoration guide. I doubt that was enough so I don't know where he sourced the white from.

Stunning looking GP, goes to show they don't all have to be 200s to look amazing. That's the beauty of a GP, only the disc, dampers and badge different, the bodywork is great looking on a clean GP
