Readspeed cdi

Has anyone fitted the Readspeed adjustable cdi. Whats your experience and was it easy to set up?

Did you read my Oily Rag article in Jetset?

I guess the Readspeed CDI is similar in set-up.

Worth doing on a dyno, in my opinion, but quick and easy, so not too expensive in dyno time.

Looking at the tech pic on the Readspeed site,it seems you set the base timing and then switch settings without altering the base setting,unless its within a certain range of what you need.
As with all these things do you have to rev the engine to,for eg 6000 rpm to check your timing at those revs or is it ok to see the timing heading that way?
