What kit

Need help with a tuning kit, how do you tune your scooter, which kit should I choose, and all general tuning and modifcations questions are for in here.

What kit

Postby Cellardyke » Sun Jan 22, 2017 12:42 am

Ok,

Any advice would be appreciated. Looking for an upgrade from a standard 200cc. Intention on running a 28 mm pwk carb with an after market expansion. Usage would be running around town with the odd motorway drive. Basically something I can bolt on without going into major surgery, crank bearings ect...suggestions on kit and exhaust ?

Cheers in advance ...

Have you read the "Bang for Bucks" article in Scootering ?

Maybe just have your barrel tweeked and set-up to maximise it's capability.

For ease just bolt on a GT 200 kit providing it isn't an Indian crank n bearings in engine. also be aware of gearbox bearings as they tend to fall apart too.
If all been replaced you will also need some good clutch springs and happy riding but would suggest going to 30 phbh

It's pretty much a weekly question, I'm sure a search will bring up a few threads with various pros and cons of different kits.

Cheers to all for some input.

Reckon the rapido classic, pwk 28mm and pm exhaust should give me a but more power to play with.

Thanks
