Ok Folks, meeting next week to finalise all the details before it goes 'Live' so to speak.


Details of pricing, ticket allocation, how to get your wristband etc are going to be the same as last year.

For those of us who didn't go last year are you able to repeat what those details are, in particular how to order a ticket/wristband?

it's all in hand & should be all systems go by the end of the week. But if you need to know most of the details, they are the same as last year.

Please join the Solent Cougars scooter club & the LCGB for a 125 mile tour round trip of the beautiful west wessex way. (Not in the south downs).

This is a BSM signing on event, there will be three signing on points. The start, halfway round and the end.

Camping and all amenities are provided on site, along with competitively priced catering offering hot meals & breakfast.

The cost of the event is £10 for the weekend + very minimal booking fee.

CUT OFF POINT FOR RECEIVED APPLICATIONS AND E-TICKET PURCHASES IS 23RD MARCH.

The venue for the event is..

BTC Sports & Social Club
Stoneham Lane, SO16 2 Southampton Hampshire.

Friday, gates open from 1700. Please show your wristband or e-ticket on the gate in exchange for a wristband.

Friday night will be a gentle affair at the bar.

Saturday, the run will start mid morning when route cards are handed out. The evening will be hosted by Solent cougars talented dj's playing a wide range of sounds.

Loads of premier inns, travel lodges, Holiday inn's etc within a couple of miles of the venue.

This year will be paypal only. If you do not have a paypal account we're sure you know someone who has.

must remember to do all three this year; last year I did at the start and at the halfway cafe, but didn't realise there was one back at the clubhouse too... so didn't get those points...

Did the start & end point signing on but forgot to do the caff one as I was taking pix & enjoying the soup, DOH! But then I had got there in the van as I was accompanied by an 'elicit' dog - four legged you sexist gits so no real points anyroad. Have a great ride all

Ok folks. Two of us have been out and done the route this morning. I personally think it's better than last years.. Tried to keep it as basic as possible & as user friendly for those not so proficient at getting around/no sat nav, so please bring a map of some sort (just in case). All will be revealed on the day but I will say there's some really good scenery, blinding roads, twisties & straights with no fixed speed cameras either, although I'm sure that none of us indulge in such reckless behaviour.

A very good point of interest & also a half way stop for refuelling, ie pub. They're laying on food & drinks for well under a tenner as well.

we will only be doing online ticket sales this year with a strict cut off date 1 month before the event.
If you really cant find a way to buy on line P.M me and we'll sort something, but please only after you've exhausted all other avenues.
Last year we stretched the date to help some members.
Be aware this year this will not happen.
