How do you know if a LI 150 is a silver special ? The chassis no starts 208? Thanks

For one thing, it'll be an 150LIS frame, rather than LI150 or 150LI (standard LI, rather than Special). I do not know a number sequence for the Golden or Silver models.... soz.

According to Vittorio's books the badged "Silver" Specials with the chrome ring were only made between May and Sept 1965.

I've been told today that it is a silver special but they only started adding the silver badge on the front in 1965.
