Close ratio fear box 4 speed

I took my Indian GP200 gearbox out of my TS1 as there was tooooooooo big a jump between 3rd & 4th, replaced with a LI150 g/box & the grin factor returned
I've got an Omega 5 x speed (sx150 1st to 4th & sx200 4th as 5th ) in my 200cc Gori, feels abit like the GP200 I took out of the TS.......

Guys, what are your thoughts on an Italian GP 200 gearbox in a TS1 225 ??

Does that work well, any experiences ?

I use a GP200 box in my TS1. It has a big jump from 2nd to 3rd which I can live with.
3rd to 4th isn't too bad, allowing you to keep the engine in the power band without over revving it.

I run a late Pacemaker [strong] gearbox with 18 x 47 that gives 4.8 final ratio. It takes a bit of revs to get it off the line in first, but is a one of the best as I understand it in terms of close ratios for a genuine innocenti gearbox.

ok, ok 'felt there was a big jump between 3rd & 4th with my Indibum gearbox', but the LI150 jhas more grin factor

Indian Gp 200 gear boxes have a very close 3rd to 4th ands are in fact what is used on many close ratio gear boxes, usually pacemaker 1st -2nd with Indian Gp 200@ 3rd=16 cluster 38 cog & 4th = 18 cluster x 36 cog? You may be mistaken for GP 150? check your teeth
