was thinking of one of these for the TS1 in my Special.
I have a scoop on the LH panel [for a previous topend configuration], so would be nice to use it; and I always think it looks a bit busy on the right, and sparse on the left, with TS1s, Imolas etc

so thanks for posting pic of one fitted to a bike

be interesting to see how performance is ? had you ridden the engine already ? ie is this the only change to the motor ?

No prob.

I haven't ridden the engine previously but I got it off someone I know. It was a 24bhp/18ftlb engine with a Devtour and 32mm VHSA. I'll be running the left hand manifold with a 30mm PHBH and a Modified Gori at first to see how it goes (already tried the Gori on my 283 motor and it rode nicely) but I may throw a Supertourer on to try as well. I've changed from a GP200 box to a Pacemaker and I've had the exhaust port altered to move the power down the rev range a touch. Going for more torque than bhp. So it won't be a true back to back comparison unfortunately. I pretty sure Superhooper has used one as well so maybe he will be better judge.

I should be speaking to Roy this week, so will ask him.

Good idea......and could get a breathe sweet on it under the panel.

Is there any proven filters for the conventional right side inlet using a 30 mm VHSA ?

Jarv,

Superhooper has just fitted on to his TS1 engine and he is very pleased with the result. He thinks he might have lost a couple of bhp, but this might not be entirely due to the manifold, but he is delighted with the resulting performance. Give Roy a call if you want more info.
