New variable timing CDi available from HHP

Postby Knowledge » Tue Mar 28, 2017 2:30 pm

You may recall my enthusiastic adoption of the HHP manufactured CDi with four curves pre-programmed into the box in my review in Oily Rag in autumn 2016.

HHP are back with a new product, this time with eight timing options. They have sent me a leaflet explaining the different timings for their v6 and v8 CDi's.

The unit also has a direct output for any analogue rev counter. The output is direct from the primary side of the high tension coil inside the HHP CDI.

The new box will be available in a few weeks from SIP, but there is currently no UK based supplier. Miguel at HHP would be happy to hear from any UK shops wishing to stock his products.

Do you not think that this is now becoming overkill ?
How many units do we need ?
Just my opinion so don't take it personally.

What Chris, like all those cylinder kits on the market? I couldn't name them all.

Competition is good for the market. Good products will survive.
