Got an issue with the seat I've fitted hitting the air scoop. It's a nannucci style one and I've got washers under the hinge plate and catch plate?

Many after market seats foul on the air scoop, It's either raise the seat bracket to clear or remove scoop if carb set up will allow.

Or put the air scoop on a belt sander? & take a mill or 2 off ?

When I fitted one of these seats I dented the pan using a dome headed nylon hammer. Basically you'll be putting a recess into the pan above the scoop. I'm no panel beater but start in the centre of the dent and work outwards until you've got the shape you need.
Paul.
