air filter

evening everyone,
Ive put a 30ml del auto carb on my lambretta. when I have put the air filter on the side panel is squashing the air filter,
and its running very sluggish. anyone have any advice on different air filters, smaller types.

Does it run ok without an air filter? Probably.

Have you seen the sweet breath filter system? This takes the filter away from the panel and might be the solution you are looking for, if running without a filter is not an option.

As Knowledge says try the breath sweet system as you get more clearance, also try turning it round 90 degrees (pointing towards rear)
