Hi
The spark plug I have is a BRE8ECMIX which I inherited with the scooter. which is a 150 Special with 186 mugello and 25mm phbl carb. Does anyone else know anything about this type spark plug? I have noticed its about 10 mm shorter than a BR8ES which I am more familiar with and has a much smaller diameter electrode. Thanks in advance for any help.

Please see what happened to me at weekend this could be a reason why shorter plug installed. (Started Thread under Mugello spark plug)
At weekend at Dyno, CS noticed that the spark plug thread has not been threaded all the way out on the Head, this was noticed as he thought that I have not tighten up the spark plug, I assured him I have, he tighten went for a spin came back and noticed the plug was loose!
This apparently seems to be a common fault with the Mugello.

The ECM plugs help when a standard one and cap can rub on the frame especially if using a Monza head and /or a long rod and packer. They also come in handy on centre plug heads to clear the frame tube.

Hi Wack,
Would a B8ES type normally be the choice putting clearance issues to one side with certain set ups?
