SIO DC RPM, Ignition timing.

Hi Guys

Can any of you clever lot inform me, will a full DC Wassel Conversion interfere with the ignition timing? See 'Sip2 Installation' If need full details.

I have joined the Brown RPM of the Sip 2 to one of the yellows from the Stator (BGM DC) this was the only way I could get correct and stable RPM, would this have any bearing on the Ignition Timing especially on High RPM?

No, that will work fine and is what I have on my LiS, full DC with Wassel conversion and RPM wire attached to a yellow before the Wassel unit. Works fine 8-)

Won't affect timing at all. The dc wiring and coils are totally separate to the ignition system

Thanks guys

Just clutching at straws then! Installed Mugello 198 and Gori 50 only pulling 60, been dyno'ed at CS. Will investigate further....
