late vj forks

anyone using the late vj forks with the outbourd dampers ?? , just wondering if anyone had replaced the link bushes and what did you use or did you have to make some bushes as these are unavailable . cheers simon

Please Post images on here (that we can see using a ‘friendly’ Host!) or send them to me & I’ll do the job @ material cost!

I have an ulterior motive as the links are unobtainable & I have a desire to build a set because I (probably stupidly!) am intrigued as to whether they could offer advantages in a sporting machine. As requests in ‘Wanted’ have met with a deafening silence, if they (the links) are something that I can draw up for replication, that would be my aim. Warkton Tornado No 2 doesn’t know that yet, but he is a miller by trade....

Seriously, it may be that a roller or deep groove (in pairs) bearing set-up might be the outcome as it’s fair to say I know my way around bearings & have a reasonable stock.
