Can a 150 mag flange be swapped straight onto a 200 casing, or does it need modifying ?
Thanks

Sticky's manual says that it is possible to use a 150 mag housing on a 200 case but the transfer ports must be machined to fit.

Pretty sure I have an unmatched 150 on my 200.
No issues.
Small losses possibly but not sure I can notice it.

I had a 150 mag flange matched to a 200. It's a simple thing to do. So if you've got one why not take the time to do it properly?

I suspect my flywheels bearing has gone. I have a spare 150 mag housing and was going to build it with new seals and bearings then do a straight swap. The alternative is to re-use the fitted mag housing, which means it will take slightly longer.....no massive problem.

Usually it's just a case of reshaping the transfer cut out on mag house to the same shape on casing, done it a few times. Basically a 10 minute job with a multi-tool or a die grinder.
