just a couple of points mate.
The barrel looks badly scoured at the bottom,if it has gone through the nicasil it will need replacing.
Have you removed the petals from the manifold ?

It doesnt look as tho the niksil is worn through.I took the reeds off to loctite the screws when I first put it together.
