Leather work

Postby Watfordwhite » Sat Mar 31, 2018 5:24 pm

So I have just purchased an in line centre console for my S1. Now I need some leather straps and matching single seat covers made. Any idea who's best to contact? Anybody on here that does really nice leather work?

http://www.buckskinleathercraft.co.uk/ Gordon has done several seats for me and I can highly recommend him.

He makes saddlebags and various bits for motorbikes as well so should be able to help you out.

There's a lad called paul hunter in Newcastle but i don't know if he's an lcgb member or not. Look him up on facebook ir I could get his mobile number for you. I think he operates under the name of hooligan leather. He had a feature in scootering on his spanish s2 not so long back.

I needed some leather straps for my inline wheel carrier, I ended up buying some cheap leather belts of the correct width off a market stall and got them to cut them down to size and punch the holes in. Was far cheaper than getting them made from scratch.
