Is there any reason why I can’t use Li brake shoes on a GP front hub back plate?

I use Makino (Indian) on an Italian Li,so I dont see any reason why not.

LI and SX cam is a different thickness, with shoes differing to suit. If you want to interchange then you need to swap out the cam too.

Cheers for the replies, I should be ok then as I'm just transferring all of the moving parts from and early 'weak' backplate to a GP backplate. I'd dry assembled it before dropping off to the powder coaters and it all seemed fine but just thought I'd check in case I'd missed something.

I think the SIL GP 200 take LI Shoes from memory, I bought some a couple of years ago from an established dealer.

I'm sure I've had universal shoes that came with a clip on shim so usable with both cams.
