clutch lever play

I have been told (by a not too reliable mate ) that you need far more play on your clutch lever when fitting a AF 6 plate road clutch than on a normal clutch, Is he correct?

You dont need it but it will put the bite point nearer the middle of the travel which will give you more feel.
there is less lever movement between engaged and not. They bite like a pitbull
once set up they're a fantastic bit of kit
They Take a little adjustment in how you let the lever out but after a couple of runs its just normal.
