WIRING DIAGRAMS

Postby WOO » Mon Apr 02, 2018 5:33 pm

I have a series 2
and have almost finished the total rebuild, now comes the wiring, can any body point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for a 12v conversion electronic ignition, (no battery).
Wiring loom, cdi unit and BECME-Toring headset block are all from scootopia
cheers

They are nearly all in Sticky's workshop manual.

Sticky's manual is a great investment for this sort of problem.

All, great info but still confused on my first restoration (1960 Series 2 Li 125) even though I have Stickys book and printed numerous diags.

I have what I think is a Light Pink or Rose coloured wire coming from the original light switch that seems to not connect up with anything, the loom I have which is for a 12v system does not have any Rose/pink colour coming into the wiring block. It does have three wires terminating lower down by the horn but my guess was this is for the horn and a front brake light switch if fitted ?

Some pics attached, thanks for any suggestions ?

I wouldn't worry about extra wires until you've checked what is or isn't working. Use a battery to test light circuits.
