Good afternoon
I’ve owned my gp for a couple of years
I need to change the silent blocks but I noticed the kickstart side is longer than flywheel side.
Anyone else have this setup and what are advantages/disadvantages of this setup
I bought the scooter with these already in place

I think I'm right in saying this was to help the mount from degrading due to the constant kick starting. Opinions tend to be they notice little or no change. Tractorman on here says they help with his sidecar outfit. I think someone did say they were a little bit better longevity wire. Here you go, a previous discussion

I replaced my TV175 ones with normal mounts & within a year they'd gone again, so I now fit as std to all my own riden lammys the extended AF's mounts with no failure problems, even on my TS1
