Wheel rim studs

Postby Jono » Sat Aug 30, 2014 10:18 pm

Anybody got any idea where I can obtain a wheel rim stud from for an Indian rim. Unforntunately I have one stripped on my SIL Gp150 ( that is the stud that holds the rim halves together) Scooter restorations are out of stock.

Thanks Tony
Was hoping to avoid welding if possible. However, I will have a look at Allstyles as a fall back contingency should an alternative not be identified. Jono

Hi I got some from Gary at Allstyles, you can get away without welding them, you can edge pot them as long as you do them up tight no problem :)

Just use an ordinary bolt the same size and thread, then put a nyloc nut on and tighten with spanners.
