My favourite front brake I've ever had is a reverse pull drum.

My least favourite front brake was a reverse pull drum.

The difference is the cam. The GP cam lifts the shoes faster and caused an incredibly snatchy and harsh brake. I was nervous every time I had to use it!

Have you adjusted the static pad? Don't inboard disc brakes require adjustment of the static pad as the actuated brake pad wears?

I used to use a hydraulic converted Innocenti disc brake, but since using the ScootRS Nissin outboard disc brake on my street racer, I'm going to do similar on my GP200 TS240. That brake system has saved my life more than a few times. On my GP200, I didn't like the severe brake fade from my hydraulic inboard disc brake I once experienced going down a mountain road.
