Any idea on how to stop the bolt on brackets slipping down? I tried tape but they still slip.

Not sure what your brackets are like but if there is enough metal to drill and tap a hole you could fit a grubscrew to help lock the in place.

^ thanks. I was also wondering about getting some strips of rubber instead of regular Electricians tape wrapped around the fork tube and the clips over that. I would think others have had the same problem. I appreciate the BGM ones and their Knock offs are better, but I already have the traditional top shock bolt on brackets.

I used old inner tube rubber cut to fit inside the bracket - works well for me. Paul
