12v Halogen headlight bulbs.

The one on the left has good connections to the bulb holder but no shroud, resulting in dip and main being the same. The one on the right has appalling connections but does have a shroud inside.

It’s a while since I have bought any. Does anyone have any recommendations please? Ideally good connections, well made and a shroud.

True. I may end up doing just that.

The one on the right, which failed after next to no miles, had clearly had solder put on but a couple of the blobs had fallen off.

Have you used the Reedspeed one?

Thanks, Roli. I can see the LED ones but no Halogen ones.

I’m not fussed about the LED ones, to be honest. I have a Vape ignition with good lights.

These 5 minute ting tong bulbs will not focus onto the road correctly on dip beam and will likley only serve to blind oncoming drivers..

The right ones for the job can be found at:-
