Slightly loose dowel on endplate

Postby Scooterslag » Wed May 17, 2023 12:07 pm

Just rebuilding a gearbox ( Italian cases and end plate) and one of the dowels isn't loose or rocking about but you can pull out with a bit of loose pressure, everything lines up out and the studs etc are all in great condition. Anything to be concerned about or good to go? thanks Paul

loctite it in place if you're worried just make sure the endplate has 2 punch marks on the outside of its hole

Cheers figured a blob of loctite might be the answer but always prudent to check with endplate stuff, thanks Paul
