Legshield toolbox

Has anyone fitted a PK legshield toolbox instead of the usual PX one. I believe they are slightly smaller.

My PKXL is plastic with a moulded back that follows the frame spine.
You would have to cut the back out and i think it would very flimsy.
They go for daft money
Im not sure about the pre XL box.
The XL has the best shaped door, wonder if a fibreglasser could make mould???

The earlier pk toolbox (possibly) was metal. Exactly the same as AF’s but with the big square frame cutout. Once pltated and welded up there fine. Myself and Pricey have them fitted to our bikes.

Gone for a PX one in fibreglass. Chris at GRP scooterparts has a mould. Had the nanucci style off him before and they are spot on. The PK one isn't particularly that much smaller after a bit of research

It’s not that much smaller but it’s a lot neater. I’m sure AF will have them In stock with a lambretta cut out.
