Are original Borgo pistons forged or cast?

I am no expert, by any means, but I am assuming that you are interested in Borgo pistons as they were originally supplied, three ring and original fitment.

From what I read, there are arguments for and against forged pistons.

But, if you are running an old Borgo piston for a near standard set up, you should be fine.

Thanks for the replies. So if it’s cast does anyone know what clearance there should be between the piston & the bore? I’ve read that there needs to be less clearance on a cast piston compared to that of a a forged piston.
