Carb settings

Postby Littlewheels » Sun Oct 15, 2023 5:36 pm

Ive rebored my TV cylinder to 63mm which now makes it 180cc. Does anyone know what changes I need to make to the carb settings for the increase in cc?
Everything else will be set up as standard.
Thanks

You may not need to make any changes.
After the running in period has completed you could run at full throttle for a while, drop the throttle and cut the ignition, and then do a plug chop to determine if you need a richer mixture.

If you look at the factory carburettor settings for the GP150 and the GP200 (same size carb - 22mm), there are very few differences between the jets. I doubt if your carb will need any changes.

Try it.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yes I think I'm gonna try it with standard settings and see how she goes. 8-)
