oil throw washer

Postby 59 lammy boy » Thu Nov 13, 2014 5:36 am

I've noticed that I don't have a oil throw washer on my drive side crank
Will it do any damage if it's left off
cheers

Judging but your name is this a '59 engine?? In which case they wernt fitted with one and you can't actaully fit one without quite a bit of modification.

Yeah s1's and early s2's dont have Them , it will be fine running as standard or mildly tuned top end, some people might advise against putting a high powered revvy kit on it without modifying the casing tho, what top end are you using?
