sidecar problems

I was getting on fine fitting a watsonia bambini sidecar to my scooter until it came to fitting the sidecar body. There is not enough room in the wheel arch for the wheel and suspension, the tyre rubs on the body. I wonder if anyone with a similar sidecar can help, perhaps with photo's of the how the suspension should be fitted together, please? I may have it wrong but there looks to be only one way to have it. The sidecar has the torsion suspension system.

I have a mk1 bambin iwith the new watsonian chassis, clearance is very limited between wheel and guard, perhaps 15mm, I'll try and get photos tomorrow.
