Can you tell where an engine was made from the serial number i.e. Italy, Spain or India.

David,

May I suggest that you are picking up on our earlier conversation about 200cc castings being machined for 150cc by the Spanish and Indians?

When I asked about this before, the concensus of opinion was that it was not possible to identify whether a casing is a 200cc casting by the number alone. Perhaps someone will have an update on this situation.

Sorry if I have been too presumptious.
