Morning all
Can anyone tell me what the 2 oils seals are for as supplied with the Targaline gear change kit ? :?

Are they instead of a gasket under the swivel mount? I didn't use mine.

No inside diameter too big for the bolts,just doesn't look right,think they should actually go one swivel mount.

I dont see any oil seals in that photo,I can see one o-ring that goes on top of the gear swivel.

Is it important to have this o ring on then? I may have to have a look at mine (Mike Phoenix sells them much cheaper than that eBay advert)

On the gear swivel axel, o ring, gear swivel, o ring then circlip. Tight but you can get it on. A lot of people do not bother but hey there must be a reason , think it might be to keep dirt out so then prolongs wear and tear. :D

Found this post while looking for an answer to the o ring issue. Did you remove the o rings from above and below the swivel. I can understand the keeping dirt out reason but the swivel is very stiff with them fitted

Bloody hell, so long ago I forgot, I think I just used one on top of the swivel and assumed the extra one was a spare.
