Lui Ignition Problem

Just rebuilt a Lui motor original Points, couldn`t get a spark, cleaned and gapped points, good spark, after 3 kicks no spark, same again cleaned points, good spark 3 kicks no spark, keeps on like that, bearing in mind this motor wasn`t running when I got it, still fitted with the original condensor and coil, could this be a condensor or coil problem, or something else, any ideas anyone.
