Brake light bulb LD150 1957

Postby GianfraCh » Tue Feb 02, 2021 6:42 pm

So I have managed to get a switch for a brake light and received the round LD rear light with the double mount, it does look a bit of a hassle to dismount it and put it on my original rear light, the thing is.. I opened it and saw that my one seems to have a slot for another bulb (which I could wire as a brake light?) but I am actually not sure if that is a space for the bulb... I am attaching the picture, if so, does anyone know where I could find the right bulb? any info or help will be greatly appreciated! thanks

Yup, you have the dual bulb fitting already. The usual UK Lambretta suppliers will have the 6V brake light bulb you need.

Ah amazing! lucky me. Yes I found a couple of 6v bulbs on eBay, so hopefully they will fit well. Thanks JB!

The bulbs come in different lengths and wattages. Lambretta suppliers will have the correct ones.

Thanks JB

I found a couple of festoon bulbs on eBay that seem to be the right size and 6v. hopefully they will work.
