Rectifier Fuse. (LD 150 1957)

Postby GianfraCh » Thu Feb 18, 2021 10:47 pm

I was fitting my brake like and it worked very well when I was testing it and suddenly stopped working.. I did not hear any 'pop' or anything but I thought the fuse might have blown.. so I took it out and tested it with Ohms and it just does not show anything on the multimeter.. just dead.. so definitely thats the issue there.

I am just wondering whats the right specs for the fuse that fits in the rectifier? the fuse I have got in is so old that I cannot even see the numbers printed..

is it a 3A?

does it have to be a specific type of fuse too?

Thank you!

8 amp fuse. Check at a auto parts store for something close to that in the right size.

Perfect I saw some 8amp ceramic 'torpedo" type that seem to be the right fit. Cheers JB
