Speedo drive pinion

Postby gp200ts1 » Sat Feb 20, 2021 11:48 pm

I’m looking to fit a Speedo to my mark 2 125D. I have a Speedo and the external drive unit but what I’m missing is the small drive pinion that fits to the rear axle with a roll pin. Does anyone know where I can find one or does anyone have one they want to sell?

I've only seen them available as part of the whole drive. If you know someone with a lath, it would be simple to make one up.

I’ve got a lathe but it’s not a simple job turning the helical drive on it. I’ve seen one on lambretta works site but they don’t have a secure check out.

You could ask Patch at Scooter Surgery in Trussley Road, Hammersmith on 07702 003190.
He works on open frame Lambrettas and may have one, or be able to tell you where to get one.
