Bridlington

Postby Captain Pugwash » Sun Nov 01, 2015 1:34 pm

I wa lucky enough to find time to ride over to Bridlington yesterday, I bought a couple of bits from the stalls and took an hour looking at the scooters in the custom show. I was surprised at how many of the customised scooters had metalflake paint jobs, it was like a throw back to the 80's only the big difference today is in the technical abilities, superb quality and very high finish of the scooters on show

but in very sharp contrast to the Bridlington Custom Show was this little beauty, it was parked up outside the venue in the scooter parking area

All topped of with a Rolls Royce Speedometer that actually looked like it was correctly cabled up to work.

I wonder how many of the gauges worked ?

i'm sure it would have got a trophy if he'd entered it in the show.........especially as it appeared to have been driven to Brid'.

Anyone know the owner/spec' ?

Appreciate the effort that went into it but it doesn't do anything for me.

Looks like someone had an off on a skelly in a car boot sale.... ;)

Seen it a few times. It's owned by a lad from the Wakefield area called Keith. Same lad who used to ride the Curry Burner with a shopping trolley trailer.

Must admit it does nothing for me either, each to their own I suppose. I'd rather look at it than some of the all singing all dancing though.
