Bristol M.sickle show 2016

Postby Andy B.L.C. » Wed Dec 30, 2015 10:23 pm

Feb 6/7 the Carol Nash Bristol Classic returns to the Shepton Mallet Showground. The V.M.S.C. (Vintage Motor Scooter Club) will be there in the full glory of their 2 wheeled & much appreciated oddness. Soul City (L.C.G.B. affiliated club) will have some guaranteed top notch Lammys on show & the Bristol Lambretta Club will be there having a 'Blue Peter' moment... Get yerselves there, it's a top event, though hugely scoot lite compared to oop noorf... This can all be changed... If you're local why not put on a club/marque/subcultural display of your own - it wont cost ya...

I'm thinking of going to this - what day is recommended for scooters? Saturday or Sunday?

There's no real difference between Sat & Sun, ultimately the weather is the main deciding factor in footfall etc. Bristol Cog 18 (other thing crew) are possibly having a ride out to the show on Sat though their club/ V.C.B. stall has been banished to outside the show buildings/marquee... ;) It wont be Newark mind :(

I shall be going sat. It's been a good event the last few yrs. Never any Lammy stuff but it's still worth a wander
